At least one influential member of Congress is hopeful about the possibilities of the upcoming television incentive auction.
Some broadcasters have signaled their interest in participating in the auction and the wireless industry showed interest in investing in spectrum in a government spectrum auction earlier this year — which all bodes well for the 2016 auction, according to House Communications and Technology Subcommittee Chair Greg Walden (R-Ore.)
