President Obama’s proposal to spend another $450 billion on a jobs program was not received well on Wall Street. There were also new concerns about the overseas economy as well, with a resignation from the European Central Bank. The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed back below the 11K mark, falling 304 points, or 2.7%, to 10,992. Most broadcasting stocks had a down day.
The RBR Radio Index was down 6.984, or 2.5%, to 269.278.
The TVBR Television Index was down 5.554, or 2.9%, to 186.741
