U.S. financial markets enjoyed a healthy session on Friday, with the Dow Industrials improving by 3%, to 24,242.49, and the Nasdaq rising by 1.4%, to 8,650.14.
How did media stocks perform?
Several broadcast TV companies were on the rise, with Sinclair Broadcast Group up $1.55 a share, to $15.84, and The E.W. Scripps Co. surging $1.45 per share, to $7.49.
Also up in a big way: Nexstar Media Group, soaring $7.07 to $66.21.
For radio companies, all were in the green, with Beasley Media Group jumping ahead by 37 cents to $2.64, and iHeartMedia rising 34 cents, to $7.34.
How did Entercom do? It’s up by $0.0507 cents — to $1.01 a share.
