Wall Street rallies after 11th-hour budget deal

Stocks blasted higher on Wednesday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average scoring its biggest first-session-of-the-year-point gain ever, as The Street welcomed an 11th-hour deal to avoid steep spending cuts and tax increases. The Dow rose 308.41 points, or 2.4%, to 13,412.55.


The RBR Radio Index was up 2.939, or .7%, to 438.599.

The TVBR Television Index was up 9.029, or 2.7%, to 345.392.
