Wall Street worries about Washington – 7/25/11

The weekend collapse of debt limit negotiations between the White House and the House GOP leadership was not well received on Wall Street, with the focus now on the House and Senate trying to agree on a solution. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 88 points, or 0.7%, to 12,593. Broadcasting stocks retreated with the herd.


The RBR Radio Index was down 4.437, or 1.2%, to 357.490.

The TVBR Television Index was down 1.535, or 0.6%, to 265.915.
