Walmart was #1 TV spot buyer

The results are in from the latest Media Monitor tally of America’s biggest TV spot buyers, and Walmart is at the top of the list, supplanting Univision. Here are the latest results:


Media Monitors stated:

“Just as America gets ready to cut the turkey, we can see the changes take place in the Media Monitors TV SPOT TEN. #1 last week was Walmart with 26,625 spots. Univision dropped to #2 airing 22,858 announcements, while McDonald’s maintained at #3 with 18,587 spots. NBC TV Network took #4 with 18,384 ads and ABC TV Network was #5 with 18,294 spots. TOYOTA stayed at #6 with 16,546 spots, while NISSAN nudged up from #8 to #7 running 16,514 commercials. Macy’s exploded from #23 to #8 with 15,176 spots and the CBS TV Network landed at #9 with 14,887. Coming up from #14 to #10 was the FORD DEALER ASSOCIATION with 13,696 spots.”
