Feature Role For Cumulus’ Sales Team … and WWO’s FYI


A newly created role has been filled at Cumulus Media that sees an individual take on responsibility for managing the company’s local and national features as well as the FYI Network housed under Cumulus’ Westwood One arm.

Now in the role is Brendan T. Walsh, who will be based in St. Louis.

For the past three years, Walsh has served as primary advisor to Chick-Fil-A on marketing projects, including evaluation, creative execution and campaign fulfillment.

From 2014-2018, he was at Total Traffic & Weather Network — an iHeartMedia-owned entity — as SVP/Sales for the Midwest, rising from Central VP/Sales. Walsh had been with TTWN since its acquisition of Metro Networks.

From 1997-2006, he was with Tribune Media, in roles that included new business development for KPLR-11 in St. Louis.

In his new role, he reports to WWO and Cumulus President of National and Network Sales Bryan Forbes.
