It’ll be all holiday music, all the time at Washington DC Clear Channel AC outlet WASH-FM. Crooner Andy Williams and his “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year” will kick off the nod to the holidays.
The station, which airs on 97.1 MHz, will be embarking on its 13th temporary holiday format flip, a tradition dating back to 2000.
“For thirteen years WASH-FM has been D.C., Maryland and Virginia’s ‘Home for the Holidays,’” said WASH-FM Program Director, Bill Cahill. “This year we were fortunate enough to have the help of singer Josh Groban to kick off the Holiday Music on WASH. It’s truly the most wonderful time of the year at WASH-FM!”
