On 5/24, Pacifica’s WBAI-FM NYC (wbai.org) will honor the occasion with 23 hours of programming. Hosts will air rare recordings, interviews, historic material from the Pacifica Archives, live performances and general mayhem. Hosts include free-form talk radio legend Bob Fass, Peter Bochan, the award-winning Midnight Ravers, Kimberly Massengill, Alana Amram, The Morning Dew crew, Reggie Johnson, Andrea Katz, and Ibrahim Gonzalez.
Dylan’s influence and the devotion of his fans will be on full display in live performances direct from the WBAI studios. Garland Jeffreys, Guy Davis, Lenny Kaye, J D Daugherty, Electrajet, John Kruth, Sal Maida, Knox Chandler will be performing, and the list is growing. “Nearly a Day of Dylan” starts Tuesday, 5/24 at 6:00am and ends Wednesday, 5/25 at 5:00 am.
