Maryland native Bryan Nehman will host the new morning drive show at Hearst News/Talker WBAL, Baltimore after Dave Durian steps down—likely in mid-October. Durian will remain to do special assignments. Nehman is currently on the “Mornings on the Mall with Brian and Bryan” show on Cumulus’ WMAL-AM DC with Brian Wilson.
Nehman tells the Baltimore Sun: “Number one, it’s a great station, and I love the fact that they’re local, local, local. It’s very hard to find that in radio these days. Almost everywhere you go, it’s syndicated in radio. The company is fantastic from everything I heard. And then, there’s the city. I’m a Maryland boy through and through.”
