The Economic Opportunity Board of Clark County, NV’s non-comm Urban “Power 88.1” announces a special KCEP milestone event: “Celebrating 40 Years Gala.” This gala fundraiser will take place on 10/7 at 6 pm inside Sam’s Town Live in Las Vegas.

From GM Craig Knight:

“Over the past four decades Power 88 has played a vital role in many lives. From providing the community with information on health awareness, education, politics, legal issues, housing, finances, spirituality and entertainment, to being a platform, outlet and development base for career minded individuals looking to enter various professional fields, it’s a record of service that we constantly strive to improve.

KCEP first hit the airwaves of Las Vegas on October 7, 1972 with 10 watts of power. Forty years later, in 2012, KCEP broadcasts with 10,000 watts of power in Digital HD. Plus, KCEP has a growing group of listeners located throughout the United States and around the world by way of Internet streaming and social media, including Facebook, Twitter, texting and other Internet-based apps!

We are very excited about this landmark achievement and the “Celebrating 40 Years Gala” will recognize KCEP’s record of community service in a positive and exciting way.

But, more importantly, we want you to be a part of this spectacular event by being a Sponsor and / or attendee. Please review the information included. We’re confident you will find something that fits your budget!

KCEP is proudly owned and operated by the Economic Opportunity Board of Clark County and as a 501(c)3 organization, every donation is tax deductible.

Thank you in advance for your consideration and we hope to see you there!”
