Wednesday 'America's Got Talent' delivered No. 1 results

At 9 p.m. ET, the “America’s Got Talent” Results Show (2.4/7 in 18-49, 9.4 million viewers overall) delivered the #1 result of the night in total viewers on ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox or CW.  “America’s Got Talent” was #1 in the time period on ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW in adults 18-49, total viewers and other key categories. 


In adults 18-49, the “Talent” advantage in the hour was 60 percent (2.4 vs. 1.5 for CBS’s second-place “Criminal Minds” encore), and in total viewers, “Talent’s” margin of victory was 61 percent (9.4 million vs. 5.9 million for “Criminal Minds”). 

From its first half-hour to its second, “Talent” grew in every key ratings category, including gains of 14 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 2.5 from a 2.2) and 10 percent in total viewers (9.9 million vs. 9.0 million). 
 
Note that over each of the last four weeks, “America’s Got Talent” has increased by 0.1 of a rating point in 18-49 in official nationals versus these preliminary fast-affiliate ratings, including a gain to a 2.5 rating each of the last two weeks from a preliminary 2.4.
“America’s Got Talent” built on its lead-in by 100 percent in 18-49 rating and 103 percent in total viewers.

At 10 p.m. ET, “Love in the Wild” (1.4/4 in 18-49, 4.5 million viewers overall) ranks #2 in the hour among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49 and total viewers and is #1 among adults, men and women 18-34.

 
At 8 p.m.. ET, “Minute To Win It” averaged a 1.2/4 in adults 18-49 and 4.6 million viewers overall.  From its first half-hour to its second, “Minute” clocked increases in every key ratings category, including gains of 18 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.3 from a 1.1) and 16 percent in total viewers (5.0 million vs. 4.3 million).
