With an original HUMAN TARGET at 8p followed by the AMERICAN IDOL Top 10 Results show, FOX won the night across all demos, outperforming the next highest rated network by +110% among Adults 18-49, +100% among Adults 18-34, +160% among Teens and +93% in Total Viewers.
At 8p HUMAN TARGET posted a 2.3/8 among Adults 18-49 and showed impressive growth over last week, increasing +15% among Adults 18-49 (2.3/8 vs. 2.0/6), +15% among Adults 18-34 (1.5/6 vs. 1.3/5) and +21% in Total Viewers (8.2 vs. 6.8 Mil). HUMAN TARGET ranked No. 1 in the hour among Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34, Adults 25-54, Women 18-49/25-54 and all key male demos.
The Top 10 Results on AMERICAN IDOL posted a 6.5/18 among Adults 18-49 (Note that this will likely go up due to a 3:36 overrun) and won its hour among Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34, Teens and all key demos. Versus last Wednesday’s results show, AMERICAN IDOL was down -10% among Adults 18-49, but season to date (Most Current vs comparable Most Current ratings ),IDOL continues to show retention of 94% among Adults 18-49, 94% among Adults 18-34, 97% among Teens and 95% in Total Viewers.
AMERICAN IDOL outperformed its nearest competitors in the 9p hour by +103% among Adults 18-49, +88% among Adults 18-34, +300% among Teens and +153% in Total Viewers.
ABC’s annual special It’s The Easter Beagle Charlie Brown (1.4/5) was above last year’s telecast (1.2/3 on Tuesday 4/7/09). The Middle (1.9/6) was down -24% at 830p while Modern Family (3.8/11) and Cougar Town (2.6/7) were in line with their recent performances. At 10p, Ugly Betty (1.4/4) was down -13% from last week.
CBS aired repeats of The New Adventures Of Old Christine (1.3/5), Accidentally on Purpose (1.4/4), Criminal Minds (1.8/5) and CSI: NY (1.7/5).
Following repeats of NBC’s Minute To Win It (1.8/6) and Law & Order: SVU (1.4/4), an original episode of Law & Order: SVU (2.9/8) was down -12% from last week.
