Entercom Boston’s WEEI Sports Radio Network announced its fall football programming line-up, which again will be highlighted by Patriots Monday and Friday, featuring exclusive interviews with Tom Brady and Bill Belichick.
The stations’ gameday coverage of Patriots home games will emanate this year from Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill in Foxborough, MA starting on Sunday, 9/16 when the Patriots open their home schedule against the Arizona Cardinals. When the team is on the road, the show will originate from WEEI’s Brighton studios. NFL Sunday and the Real Postgame Show will kick off the previous week, on Sunday, 9/9.
NFL Sunday will air from 9:00am to noon each week with host Dale Arnold joined by former Patriots linebacker Matt Chatham, former Patriots running back Kevin Faulk, and WEEI.com columnist Christopher Price. The Real Postgame Show will air immediately after each Patriots game until 8:00pm with host Butch Stearns and former Patriots defensive lineman Fred Smerlas.
Patriots Monday will continue to bring New England fans an all-star lineup of regular guests, kicking off with Brady and NFL Today co-host Boomer Esiason on Dennis & Callahan. Mut & Merloni will be joined by Patriots wide receiver Deion Branch, while Coach Belichick returns to The Big Show with Glenn Ordway and Michael Holley alongside Patriots tackle Vince Wilfork.
Patriots Friday will feature insider interviews with the NFL Network’s lead insider Mike Lombardi and Patriots linebacker Rob Ninkovich on mornings with Dennis & Callahan. Patriots safety Patrick Chung and SI.com senior writer Peter King will join Mut & Merloni, while linebacker Jerod Mayo, ESPN’s NFL Insider Chris Mortensen, and Comcast SportsNet contributor Tom Curran will join Glenn Ordway and Michael Holley on The Big Show. Curran will also call into Mut & Merloni on Wednesdays.
Patriots Monday and Friday content is underway and continues through the final game of the Patriots season.
