Week 10: Univision solid w/ adults 18-49 and 18-34 on Friday night

Univision out-delivered one or more of the English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX) on four out of seven nights last week among Adults 18-34 and on three out of seven nights among Adults 18-49.


Thus far in 2011, Univision is the #3 broadcast network among Adults 18-34, averaging more viewers in this demographic than CBS (+10%) and NBC (+4%).

Univision was the #1 network Friday night among both Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked as the top 3 programs among Adults 18-34 including the #1 “Fuerza Del Destino,” #2 “Familia Con Suerte,” and #3 “Rosa de Guadalupe.”

2011 to-date, Univision is the top pick on Friday nights among Adults 18-34, ranking #1   92% of the time (44 out of 48 weeks). Furthermore, in the current season Univision has been the #1 Network on Friday nights 9 out of 10 weeks for the demographic.

Among Adults 18-49, Univision has been #1 on 25 out of 48 weeks in 2011 (52% of the time), with five #1 nights in the first 10 weeks of the current season.

On Monday night, Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked within the top 15 programs for the night and helped the network rank #3 among Adults 18-34 and #4 among Adults 18-34.

Univision’s “Don Francisco Presenta” featured guest appearances by Espinoza Paz and Laura Pausini, and delivered 3 million Total Viewers 2+, 1.8 million Adults 18-49, and 954,000 Adults 18-34.  The telecast experienced double-digit audience growth versus the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (+20%), Adults 18-49 (+34%), and Adults 18-34 (+41%) and is currently the second-highest airing thus far in the 2011/2012 Season in the aforementioned demographics.

On Tuesday night, Univision was the #3 network among Adults 18-49 and ranked as #2 among Adults 18-34. 

Univision’s entire primetime novela lineup was within the top 10 programs for the night.  Both “Una Familia Con Suerte” and “La Fuerza Del Destino” delivered more Adult 18-34 viewers than first-run episodes of ABC’s “Last Man Standing” and “Man Up!;” CBS’ “NCIS: Los Angeles” and “Unforgettable;” CW’s “90210” as well as the entire line-up on NBC (“The Biggest Loser 12” and “Parenthood”).
