Week 11: Univision scores solid in all adults 18-34

Univision Highlights – NPM Broadcast Prime Week of 11/29/10: Univision was the #1 broadcast network in overall primetime on three nights last week – Monday (1.2 million), Wednesday (1.3 million) and Friday (1.3 million)- among Adults 18-34.  Among Teens 12-17, Univision attained the #1 rank in overall prime on Monday (222,000) and Friday (273,000) night of last week.
 
•     Univision was the #1 most-watched broadcast network in primetime last Friday among Adults 18-49 (2.4 million) and ranked #3 among Total Viewers 2+ (4.5 million).
 
•     Last Friday, the top three most-watched broadcast programs among Adults 18-34 were Univision’s #1″Soy Tu Dueña” (Woman of Steel), #2 “Eva Luna” and #3 “La Rosa de Guadalupe” (The Rose of Guadalupe).  Additionally, “Soy Tu Dueña” was the #1 broadcast program on Friday among Adults 18-49 and Teens 12-17. 
 
•     Univision finished the week reporting growth in overall primetime versus the comparable week last year among Adults 18-49 (+4%) and Adults 18-34 (+7%) while ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX show declines
 
•       Last week, Univision out-delivered ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX on 6 out of 7 nights among Adults 18-34, on 3 out of 7 nights among Adults 18-49 and on 5 out of 7 nights among Teens 12-17.
 
•       For the week, Univision had 5 of the Top 30 primetime broadcast programs among Adults 18-34.
 
•       Univision was the #5 broadcast network in primetime last week  among Total Viewers 2+ (3.6 million), Adults 18-49 (1.9 million), Adults 18-34 (1.0 million) and ranked #1 among Kids 2-11 (486,000).
 
•       At 8pm, “Eva Luna” helped Univision capture the #3 ranking in the hour, beating ABC, NBC and CW, among Adults 18-34 (1.2 million), Women 18-34 (657,000) and Teens 12-17 (252,000).
 
•       “Soy Tu Dueña” (Woman of Steel) made the Univision the #1 broadcast network in the 9pm hour among Adults 18-49 (3.1 million), Adults 18-34 (1.8 million), Women 18-34 (924,000) and Teens 12-17 (319,000).
 
•       In the 10pm hour, Univision was the #2 broadcast network, behind CBS, among Adults 18-34 (870,000) and Teens 12-17 (175,000) thanks to its checkerboard program line-up.
 
•       “Sabado Gigante” (Giant Saturday) helped Univision attain the #4 ranking in Saturday primetime among Adults 18-34 (256,000), Teens 12-17 (86,000) and Kids 2-11 (275,000); beating NBC.
 
•       Sunday night’s premiere of “El Gran Show” (The Big Show) averaged an audience of 2.3 million Total Viewers 2+, 1.1 million Adults 18-49, 682,000 Adults 18-34 and 107,000 Teens.  For the week, “El Gran Show” (The Big Show) delivered more Adults 18-34 than English-language programs such as CBS’s “Blue Bloods,” “Medium;” NBC’s “Chase,” “Undercovers;” and ABC’s “Super Nanny,” “Detroit 1-8-7,” and “Skating with the Stars” among others.
