Univision Finishes the Week as the #4 Broadcast Network In Overall Primetime, Ahead of ABC and CW Among ALL Adults 18-34.
Univision Highlights – NPM Broadcast Prime Week of 12/06/10: Univision finished last week as the #4 ranked broadcast network in overall prime among Adults 18-34 (1.0 million), beating ABC and CW. Additionally, Univision was the #2 broadcast network in primetime among Kids 2-11 (509,000) and ranked #5 among Total Viewers 2+ (3.7 million), Adults 18-49 (1.9 million) and Teens 12-17 (202,000).
• Univision reported growth last week in overall primetime versus the comparable week last year among Total Viewers 2+ (+5%), Adults 18-49 (+8%), Adults 18-34 (+8%) and Adults 25-54 (+5%).
• Last week, Univision out-delivered ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX on 5 out of 7 nights among Adults 18-34, Teens 12-17 and on 3 out of 7 nights among Adults 18-49.
• For the week, Univision had 5 of the Top 25 primetime broadcast programs among Adults 18-34.
• Univision is the leader on Friday nights as the #1 broadcast network among ALL Adults 18-49 (2.1 million), Adults 18-34 (1.2 million) and Teens 12-17 (293,000). Additionally, Univision ranked #4 last Friday among Total Viewers 2+ (4.3 million); beating CW and FOX.
• Last Friday, the top three most-watched broadcast programs among Adults 18-34 were Univision’s #1″Soy Tu Dueña” (Woman of Steel), #2 “Eva Luna” and #3 “La Rosa de Guadalupe” (The Rose of Guadalupe). Additionally, “Soy Tu Dueña” was the #1 broadcast program on Friday among Adults 18-49 and Teens 12-17.
• For the week, “Eva Luna” made Univision the #4 ranked broadcast network in the 8pm hour among Adults 18-34 (1.1 million) and Women 18-34 (628,000), beating CW and ABC.
• At 9pm, “Soy Tu Dueña’s” (Woman of Steel) popularity continues to make Univision the #1 broadcast network among Adults 18-34 (1.8 million) and Teens 12-17 (328,000). Additionally, the novela captured the #3 ranking last week among Adults 18-49 (3.2 million) and Women 18-49 (1.8 million) and ranked #4 among Total Viewers 2+ (6.0 million). The novela also set record-breaking weekly audience levels with 6.0 million Total Viewers 2+.
• The 10pm checkerboard programming made Univision the #2 broadcast network among Adults 18-34 (948,000) and Teens 12-17 (201,000).
• Sunday night’s Holiday special “Nuestra Navidad” (Our Christmas) drew an average audience of 1.8 million Total Viewers 2+, 748,000 Adults 18-49 and 381,000 Adults 18-34.
• The second telecast of Univision’s “El Gran Show” (The Big Show) on Sunday generated 1.9 million Total Viewers 2+, 950,000 Adults 18-49 and 580,000 Adults 18-34. For the week, the show delivered more Adults 18-34 than English-language programs such as CBS’s “Blue Bloods;” ABC’s “Skating with the Stars;” FOX’s “The Good Guys;” NBC’s Friday’s “Minute to Win It” among others.
