Week 17: TeleFutura producing more nightly wins over Telemundo

 TeleFutura Highlights – NPM Broadcast Prime Week of 01/10/11


•     Last week, TeleFutura generated over 900,000 Total Viewers 2+ (945,000), 517,000 Adults 18-49 and 296,000 Adults 18-34 during broadcast prime (M-Sat 8pm-11pm, Sun 7pm-11pm).
 
•      Thus far in the 2010/11 Season, TeleFutura continues to produce more nightly wins over Telemundo during broadcast prime versus the same period in the 2009/10 Season among Total Viewers 2+ (39 nights vs. 34 nights), Adults 18-49 (44 nights vs. 33 nights) and Adults 18-34 (44 nights vs. 36 nights).
 
•      At 10pm, TeleFutura’s weeknight novela “India:”
 
ü  Averaged 957,000 Total Viewers 2+, 506,000 Adults 18-49 and 261,000 Adults 18-34.   
 
ü   Delivered its 3rd HIGHEST weekly performance among Total Viewers 2+, since premiering on 10/05/10.
 
•      TeleFutura was the #2 Spanish-language Network during weekend broadcast prime, beating Telemundo by double-digit margins among Total Viewers 2+ (TF 861,000 vs. TEL 633,000; +36% Adv.), Adults 18-49 (TF 484,000 vs. TEL 377,000; +28% Adv.) and Adults 18-34 (TF 299,000 vs. TEL 236,000; +27% Adv.).
 
ü   On Saturday night (January 15, 2011) from 8pm-11pm, TeleFutura aired back-to-back soccer games “Fùtbol Liga Mexicana: Pachuca vs. Toluca” and “Fùtbol Liga Mexicana: Atlante vs. Cruz Azul”, which drew more Viewers 2+ (TF 486,000 vs. TEL 421,000; +15% Adv.) , Adults 18-49 (TF 324,000 vs. TEL 274,000; +18% Adv.) and Adults 18-34 (TF 204,000 vs. TEL 183,000; +11% Adv.) than Telemundo’s “Fùtbol Estelar: Tigres vs. Necaxa” and “Cine de Impacto II: Jet Li’s Fearless” combined average.
 
ü   On Sunday night (January 16, 2011) from 7pm-11pm, TeleFutura’s primetime line-up that included  “Cine de las Estrellas: Aterrizaje Forzoso” and “Cine de las Estrellas Sun 2: Jurassic Park” significantly out-performed Telemundo’s  prime time programming which included “Cine Millonario: The Core” and “Cine de Impacto:  Missionary Man” among Total Viewers 2+ (TF 1,165,000 vs. TEL 782,000; +49% Adv.), Adults 18-49 (TF 621,000 vs. TEL 460,000; +35% Adv.) and Adults 18-34 (TF 375,000 vs. TEL 278,000; +35% Adv.).
