Week 18: Univision ranks No. 3 broadcast network overall

Univision Ranks as the #3 Broadcast Network in Overall Primetime Among ALL Adults 18-34 and Kids 2-11.
 
Univision Highlights – NPM Broadcast Prime Week of 01/17/11:
 
•     Univision finished the week as the #3 broadcast network in overall primetime among Adults 18-34 (965,000) and Kids 2-11(466,000); beating NBC, ABC and CW.  Additionally, Univision ranked #4 among Teens 12-17 (204,000) and #5 among Total Viewers 2+ (3.4 million) and Adults 18-49 (1.8 million).
 
•       Last week Univision out-delivered ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX on every night among Adults 18-34 and Teens 12-17; and on 2 out of 7 nights among Adults 18-49.
 
•     Eighteen weeks into the 2010-11 Season, Univision continues to be the broadcast network with the highest primetime audience increases versus the comparable period in the prior season among Adults 18-49 (+10%), Adults 18-34 (+8%) and Adults 25-54(+9%).
 
•     Last Friday, with an average audience of 1.2 million, marked the 25th time this season that Univision was the #1 network among Adults 18-34.  Additionally, Univision has been the #1 network on 10 nights among Adults 18-49 thus far in the 2010-11 Season.
 
•     Univision had the Top 2 broadcast programs on Friday night among Adults 18-34 and Teens 12-17 with #1 “Triunfo del Amor” (Triumph of Love) and #2 “Eva Luna”.  Additionally, among Teens 12-17 “Rosa de Guadalupe” (The Rose of Guadalupe) rounded out the Top 3 for the night.
 
•       At 8pm, “Eva Luna” set record audience levels delivering its highest weekly performance since premiere among Total Viewer 2+ (4.3 million), Adults 18-49 (2.2 million), Adults 18-34 (1.3 million) and Persons 12-34 (1.5 million).
 
•       “Eva Luna” reported audience growth of +9% to +11%, depending on demographic, when compared to the prior week.
 
•        Last week, “Eva Luna” helped Univision attain the #2 ranking, behind FOX, in the 8pm hour among Adults 18-34 (1.3 million).
 
•     “Triunfo del Amor” (Triumph of Love) helped Univision obtain the #2 rank in the M-F/9pm hour among Adults 18-34 (1.3 million) and Teens 12-17 (306,000); beating ABC, NBC, CBS and CW.
 
•     Last week, with its M-F/10pm checkerboard block, Univision was the #2 broadcast network in the hour among Adults 18-34 (954,000); beating its closest competitor, CBS, by +10%.
 
•     Sunday night’s “El Gran Show” (The Grand Show) attracted 738,000 Adults 18-49 and 432,000 Adults 18-34; generating a growth of +5% and +19%, respectively, versus the prior week’s performance.
