Week 19: TeleFutura continues as #2 Spanish-language network

Last week, TeleFutura was the #2 Spanish-language network , beating Telemundo among Total Viewers 2+ (TF 1,012,000 vs. TEL 981,000; +3% Adv.), Adults 18-49 (TF 589,000 vs. TEL 532,000; +11% Adv.) and among Adults 18-34 (TF 340,000 vs. TEL 315,000; +8% Adv.) during broadcast prime
 
•      TeleFutura generated impressive audience gains versus its previous week performance (01/17/11-01/23/11) and same week last year (01/25/10-01/31/10) in broadcast prime among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34:
 
 
Compared to the previous week (01/17/11-01/23/11): Total Viewers 2+ (1,012,000 vs. 919,000; +10%), Adults 18-49 (589,000 vs. 516,000; +14%) and Adults 18-34 (340,000 vs. 299,000; +14%).
 
Compared to the same week last year (01/25/10-01/31/10): Total Viewers 2+ (+2%), Adults 18-49 (+8%) and Adults 18-34 (+2%).
 
 
•      In the current 2010/11 Season, TeleFutura continues to produce more nightly wins over Telemundo during broadcast prime versus the same period in the 2009/10 Season among Adults 18-49 (48 nights vs. 37 nights) and Adults 18-34 (48 nights vs. 43 nights).
 
•      At 10pm, TeleFutura’s weeknight novela “India:” 
 
Averaged 1.0 million Total Viewers 2+, 577,000 Adults 18-49 and 318,000 Adults 18-34.   
 
Delivered its 2nd HIGHEST weekly performance levels among Adults 18-49 since premiering on 10/05/10. 
 
Marked the novela’s 2nd consecutive week of audience growth among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.
 
•      TeleFutura also delivered an impressive performance during weekend broadcast prime, earning the #2 Spanish-language Network ranking and beat Telemundo by impressive margins among Total Viewers 2+ (TF 1,137,000 vs. TEL 779,000; +46% Adv.), Adults 18-49 (TF 661,000 vs. TEL 434,000; +52% Adv.) and Adults 18-34 (TF 393,000 vs. TEL 259,000; +52% Adv.). 
 
On Saturday night (January 29, 2011) from 8pm-11pm, TeleFutura aired back-to-back soccer games “Fùtbol Liga Mexicana: Pachuca vs. Cruz Azul” and “Fùtbol Liga Mexicana: Atlas vs. America”, which significantly attracted more Viewers 2+ (TF 1,023,000 vs. TEL 433,000; +136% Adv.) , Adults 18-49 (TF 632,000 vs. TEL 253,000; +150% Adv.) and Adults 18-34 (TF 387,000 vs. TEL 158,000; +145% Adv.) than Telemundo’s “Fùtbol Estelar: Tigres vs. Toluca” and “Persiguiendo Injusticias” combined average. 
 
On Sunday night (January 30, 2011) from 7pm-11pm, TeleFutura’s primetime line-up that included  “Cine de las Estrellas: Matilda” and “Cine de las Estrellas Sun 2: Four Brothers” considerably out-performed Telemundo’s  prime time programming which included “Cine en Casa: Return to the Blue Lagoon” and “Cine Millonario:  Fantastic Four” among Total Viewers 2+ (TF 1,392,000 vs. TEL 1,073,000; +30% Adv.), Adults 18-49 (TF 772,000 vs. TEL 592,000; +30% Adv.) and Adults 18-34 (TF 452,000 vs. TEL 350,000; +29% Adv.).
