Week 19: Univision ranks No.2 among 18-34 and Kids 2-11

Univision finished the week as the #2 broadcast network, behind FOX, in overall primetime among Adults 18-34 (944,000) and Kids 2-11(474,000).  Additionally, Univision ranked #3 among Teens 12-17 (205,000) and #5 among Total Viewers 2+ (3.5 million) and Adults 18-49 (1.8 million).
 
•        Last week Univision out-delivered ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX on 6 out of 7 nights among Adults 18-34, 5 out of 7 nights among Adults 18-49 and on 4 out of 7 nights among Teens 12-17.
 
•        For the week, Univision had 9 of the Top 30 Programs on broadcast television among Adults 18-34 and 6 of the Top 30 among Teens 12-17.
 
•      In the current 2010-11 Season, Univision continues to be the broadcast network with the highest primetime audience increases versus the comparable period in the prior season among Adults 18-49 (+9%), Adults 18-34 (+7%) and Adults 25-54(+8%).
 
•      On Friday night, Univision was the #1 broadcast network in primetime among Adults 18-34 (1.1 million) and Teens 12-17 (267,000); and ranked #3 among Adults 18-49 (2.0 million).  Among Adults 18-34 this marks the 26th time this Season that Univision was the #1 network in primetime.
 
•      Univision had the Top 2 most-watched broadcast programs on Friday night among Adults 18-34 and Teens 12-17 with #1 “Eva Luna” and #2 “Triunfo del Amor” (Triumph of Love). Rounding out the Top 3 among Teens 12-17 was “Rosa de Guadalupe” (The Rose of Guadalupe) on Friday night.
 
•         Last week, “Eva Luna” achieved its highest weekly performance since premiering on 11/01/10 among Total Viewers 2+ (4.7 million), Adults 18-49 (2.4 million), Adults 18-34 (1.3 million) and Persons 12-34 (1.6 million).  The novela also reported week-to-week growth of +5% to +9% among these key demographics.
 
•        At 8pm, “Eva Luna” helped Univision attain the #2 ranking, behind FOX, in the 8pm hour among Adults 18-34 (1.3 million) and Women 18-34 (730,000).
 
•      “Triunfo del Amor” (Triumph of Love) helped Univision attain the #2 rank in the M-F/9pm hour among Adults 18-34 (1.3 million) and Teens 12-17 (288,000); beating ABC, NBC, CBS and CW.
 
•      Last week, in the M-F/10pm hour Univision was the #1 broadcast network among Teens 12-17 (209); beating its closest competitor, ABC, by +19% and ranked #2 among Adults 18-34 (891,000).
 
•      Sunday night’s “El Gran Show” (The Grand Show) delivered its 2nd-highest weekly audience performance among Total Viewers 2+ (2.3 million), Adults 18-49 (1.1 million), Adults 18-34 (591,000) and Teens 12-17 (132,000).  Additionally, the game show reported strong growth versus its prior week’s audience among Total Viewers 2+ (+57%), Adults 18-49 (+45%), Adults 18-34 (+37%) and Teens 12-17 (+113%).
