Week 23: The CW best new reality series 'Shedding for the Wedding'

The CW remains the only broadcast network up versus last season in both total viewers (+7%, 2.15M) and A18-49 (+11%, 1.0/3), and to remain steady in A18-34 (1.1/3), according to most current Nielsen data through 2/27/11.


The CW also remains the most DVRed network, averaging a 69% increase in W18-34 (1.5) versus live only last week. 90210 is the network’s most DVRed show, with a huge 99% increase in W18-34 (2.1) versus live only.

Some highlights from last week:

ONE TREE HILL was up week to week in key demos on Tuesday night, up 33% in W18-34 (1.6/5), up 25% in total viewers (2M), up 11% in A18-34 and up 14% in A18-49 (0.9/3).

SHEDDING FOR THE WEDDING was The CW’s best new reality series premiere in more than two years in W18-34 (1.0/3). SHEDDING was up 11% in W18-34 from the HIGH SOCIETY premiere (on 3/10/10), and up 25% in W18-34 from the FLY GIRLS premiere (on 3/24/10), both of which debuted in the post AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL time period last spring.

The CW was #2 Friday in A18-34 (1.0/4- tie) and M18-34 (1.2/5). Versus last week, The CW’s Friday night was up 9% in total viewers (2.4M), 11% in A18-34 (1.0/4) and up 9% in M18-34 (1.2/5) and M18-49 (1.2/4)

SMALLVILLE was up in most key demos Friday versus last week, up 18% in total viewers (2.6M), up 11% in A18-34 (1.0/4) and flat in A18-49. SMALLVILLE ranked #1 in the hour in M18-34 (1.3/5) and ranked #2 in the hour in A18-34 (1.0/4), and M18-49 (1.3/4)

SUPERNATURAL was #1 in the hour in M18-34 (1.2/5-tie) and #2 for the hour in A18-34 (1.1/4- tie). SUPERNATURAL held steady from last week in key demos, including total viewers (2.2M), and A18-49 (1.0/3) and was up 10% in M18-49 (1.1/4)
