Week 25: Univision strong adults 18-34 for the second consecutive week

For the second consecutive week, Univision finished as the #2 broadcast network, beating ABC, CBS and NBC, in overall primetime among Adults 18-34 (1.1 million).  Additionally, Univision ranked #2 among Kids 2-11 (538,000), #3 among Teens 12-17(212,000) and #5 among Total Viewers 2+ (3.9 million) and Adults 18-49 (1.9 million).


 On Friday night, Univision finished as the top-rated broadcast network in primetime among Adults 18-49 (2.3 million), Adults 18-34 (1.2 million) and Teens 12-17 (244,000).  Additionally, Univision finished as the #4 ranked broadcast network among Total Viewers 2+ (4.4 million); beating FOX.

 On Friday, “Eva Luna” was the most-watched program on broadcast television among Adults 18-49 (2.5 million) and Adults 18-34 (1.4 million).  Additionally, among Teens 12-17 “Triunfo del Amor” (Triumph of Love) was the #1 program on Friday night and ranked #2 among Adults 18-34.

 Last week, Univision out-delivered ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX on 6 out of 7 nights among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens 12-17 and on 3 out of 7 nights among Total Viewers 2+.

 For the week, Univision had 8 of the Top 30 primetime programs on broadcast television among Adults 18-34 and 4 of the Top 30 shows among Teens 12-17.

 In week twenty-five of the current season, Univision was the only broadcast network  to show primetime audience increases versus the comparable week last year among Adults 18-49 (+20%) and Adults 18-34 (+23%).

 In the current 2010-11 Season, Univision continues to be the broadcast network with the highest primetime audience increases versus the comparable period last season among Adults 18-49 (+6%) and Adults 18-34 (+5%).

 At 8pm, “Eva Luna” made Univision the #2 broadcast network, behind FOX, among Adults 18-34 (1.4 million) and Women 18-34 (830,000). 

 The novela also ranked #3 among Adults 18-49 (2.5 million), Women 18-49 (1.4 million) and Teens 12-17 (267,000); out-delivering ABC and NBC in the 8pm hour.

“Eva Luna” delivered its highest weekly performance among Women 18-49 (1.5 million) and  Women 18-34 (841,000) since premiering on 11/01/10 and achieved its second highest weekly delivery among Total Viewers 2+ (4.9 million).

 Last week, “Triunfo del Amor” (Triumph of Love) helped Univision attain the #2 ranking in the 9-11pm time slot among Adults 18-34 (1.2 million), Women 18-34 (766,000) and Teens 12-17 (250,000) and ranked #4 among Adults 18-49 (2.2 million) and Women 18-34 (799,000).

 On Saturday night, “Sábado Gigante” (Giant Saturday) made Univision the #2 broadcast network behind FOX, among Adults 18-49 (1.2 million) and Adults 18-34 (648,000) and ranked #1 among Kids 2-11 (269,000).

 On Sunday night, the second  episode of “Nuestra Belleza” (Our Latin Beauty) attracted 3.1 million Total Viewers 2+, 1.5 million Adults 18-49, 786,000 Adults 18-34 and 957,000 Viewers 12-34.  For the night the show delivered more Adults 18-34 (786,000) than NBC’s “America’s Next Great Restaurant,” “Dateline;” ABC’s “Desperate Housewives” and “Brothers and Sisters.”
