  • Univision was the #2 network during primetime last week among Adults 18-34, out-delivering ABC (+3%), CBS (+9%) and NBC (+24%). Furthermore, for the seventh time out of the last eight weeks, Univision has ranked #3 or higher among A18-34.
  • Univision out-delivered one or more of the English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX) on six out of seven nights last week among Adults 18-49.  Univision also out-delivered two or more of the English-Language broadcast networks on six out of seven nights among Adults 18-34.
  • Based on the current 2011/2012 season to date, Univision has out-performed NBC during broadcast prime 78% of the time (142 out of 182 days) among Adults 18-34 and 51% of the time (93 out of 182 days) among Adults 18-49.
  • Airing “Una Familia Con Suerte” at 8PM, Univision ranked as the #1 broadcast network (based on M-F) among Adults 18-34, out-delivering ABC and CBS by +30% and +49% respectively. The 8PM novela attracted 4 Million Total Viewers 2+ and increased its audience versus the prior week among Adults 18-49 (2.2 Million,+2%) and Adults 18-34 viewers (1.3 Million, +1%.)
  • During the 10PM hour (based on M-F), Univision aired “La Que No Podia Amar.”  Univision ranked as the #1 broadcast network among Adults 18-34 and held the #3 position among Adults 18-49, out delivering NBC in both demographics. “La Que No Podia Amar” averaged more viewers this week compared to the previous week and delivered 4.1 Million Total Viewers 2+ (+6%), 2.2 Million Adults 18-49 (+9%) and 1.2 Million Adults 18-34 viewers (+9%).
  • Univision kicked off the week as the #3 network among Adults 18-34 and #4 among Adults 18-49, beating FOX in both demographics.  Driving Monday night’s success was the premiere of Univision’s 9PM novela “Abismo de Pasion” (Abyss of Passion).

The novela premiere delivered an average audience of 4.3 million Total Viewers 2+, 2.3 million Adults 18-49, and 1.3 million Adults 18-34 making it the highest rated program on Univision Monday night among all the key demos

“Abismo de Pasion” ranked among the top 5 programs for the night among Adults 18-34 and 9th among Adults 18-49 for the entire night.  The telecast out-delivered an original airing of “Smash” (NBC) among Adults 18-34 and an original airing of “Alcatraz” (FOX) among Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.

The novela also improved the 9PM hour from the prior Monday by +36% among Total Viewers 2+, +57% among Adults 18-49, and +58% among Adults 18-34.

  • Univision rose to the #2 position on Tuesday night among Adults 18-34 and maintained its #4 network rank among Adults 18-49. Its entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 10 programs for the night among Adults 18-49 and was among the top 5 programs among Adults 18-34.
  • Univision maintained the #4 position on Wednesday night among Adults 18-49 and was #3 among Adults 18-34, beating CBS in the respective demographics. Its entire primetime lineup, including “Una Familia Con Suerte,” “Abismo de Pasion” and “La Que No Podia Amar,” ranked among the top 15 programs for the night among both Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.
  • On Thursday night Univision maintained its rank among Adults 18-49 (#4) and Adults 18-34 (#3). Univision out delivered CBS in both demographics.
  • Univision was the #2 network on Friday night among Adults 18-34 and ranked as #3 among Adults 18-49. Univision’s entire primetime line-up including “Una Familia Con Suerte,” “El Talismán,” and “La Que No Podia Amar” ranked as the top three dramatic programs Friday night among Adults 18-34.
  • On Saturday night, Univision was the #3 network among Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.  Airing at 8PM opposite NCAA Basketball, “Sabado Gigante” (Giant Saturday) attracted 2.4 Million Total Viewers 2+, 889,000 Adults 18-49, and 403,000 Adults 18-34 viewers to rank among the top 10 programs for the night in the respective demographics.
  • On Sunday night Univision ranked #4 among Adults 18-34, beating NBC, with its entire primetime lineup ranking among the top 15 programs in the demographic.

Univision kicked off the night airing “Parodiando” at 7PM. The seventh telecast of the reality show increased its audience versus the previous week among Adults 18-34 (+34%) and Adults 18-49 (+33%), averaging 2.9 Million Total Viewers 2+, 1.4 Million Adults 18-49, and 774,000 Adults 18-34.

On Sunday night at 8PM, Univision aired the third episode of the sixth installment of “Nuestra Belleza Latina” (“Our Latin Beauty”).  Compared to the prior week, “Nuestra Belleza Latina” increased viewership among Adults 18-34 (+10%).  The beauty competition is currently outpacing its prior season performance to date among Total Viewers 2+ (3.8 Million, +20%), Adults 18-49 (1.9 Million, +20%), and Adults 18-34 (1,007,000, +15%).
