In the Current 2010/2011 Season, TeleFutura Continues to Produce More Nightly Wins over Telemundo versus the Same Period in the 2009/2010 Season Among Adults 18-49


TeleFutura Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of July 18, 2011 to July 24, 2011

Last week, TeleFutura generated nearly 600,000 Total Viewers 2+ (594,000), 334,000 Adults 18-49 and 180,000 Adults 18-34 during broadcast prime (Mon-Sat 8pm-11pm/Sun 7pm-11pm).

 In the current 2010/2011 Season, TeleFutura continues to generate more nightly wins over Telemundo during broadcast prime versus the same period in the 2009/2010 Season among Adults 18-49 (81 nights vs. 70 nights).

 For the week, TeleFutura’s 8pm novela “Doña Bella,” averaged 430,000 Total Viewers 2+, 215,000 Adults 18-49  and 99,000 Adults 18-34.  Its audience grew by single to double-digit margins from the prior week (07/11/2011-07/15/2011) among key demographics that included Total Viewers 2+ (430,000 vs. 364,000; +18%),  Adults 18-49 (215,000 vs. 197,000; +9%) and Adults 18-34 (99,000 vs. 86,000; +15%).

 TeleFutura was the #2 Spanish-language network during weekend broadcast prime, delivering more Total Viewers 2+ (TF 718,000 vs. TEL 597,000; +20% Adv.), Adult 18-49 (TF 426,000 vs. TEL 371,000; +15% Adv.) and Adults 18-34 (TF 240,000 vs. TEL 236,000; +2% Adv.) viewers  than Telemundo.

On Saturday night (July 23, 2011) from 8pm-11pm, TeleFutura aired “Sabadazo” and the movie “Cine de las Estrellas Sat 2: El Escuadron del Dragon” (“DRAGON HEAT”) which significantly out-performed Telemundo’s  prime time programming that included the soccer game “Fútbol Estelar: Tigres vs. Cruz” and “Persiguiendo Injusticias” among Total Viewers 2+ (TF 514,000 vs. TEL 382,000; +35% Adv.), Adults 18-49 (TF 298,000 vs. TEL 263,000; +13% Adv.) and Adults 18-34 (TF 182,000 vs. TEL 157,000; +16% Adv.).

 On Sunday night (July 24, 2011) from 7pm-11pm, TeleFutura’s primetime line-up that included  back-to-back movie airings of “Cine de las Estrellas: Selena” and “Cine de las Estrellas Sun 2: Vivo o Muerto” (“DOA: DEAD OR ALIVE”) out-performed Telemundo’s prime time programming which included “Cine en Casa: Babe The Gallant” and “Cine Millonario:  AVPR Alien vs. Predator” among Total Viewers 2+ (TF 871,000 vs. TEL 759,000; +15% Adv.) and Adults 18-49 (TF 522,000 vs. TEL 452,000; +15% Adv.) by double-digit margins.
