The final game of the World Series topped the Nielsen Household ratings for the past week as Fox notched a victory in every major demo. But the baseball game didn’t top the 18-49 demo. It was beaten by NFL football – “Sunday Night Football” on NBC. That raises the question of whether Major League Baseball is fading with the younger demos.
In HH Fox scored an average 7.5 rating and 12 share. It was followed by CBS at 6.9/11, ABC 5.7/9, NBC 4.1/7, Univision 1.8/3, CW 1.2/2, Ion and Telemundo 0.6/1, TeleFutura 0.3/0 and Azteca America and EstrellaTV 0.1/0.
In 18-49 Fox claimed the top spot at 3.9/11, followed by CBS 2.8/8, ABC 2.5/7, NBC 2.3/6, Univision 1.4/4, CW 0.7/2, Telemundo 0.4/1, Ion 0.3/1, TeleFutura 0.2/1 and EstrellaTV and Azteca America 0.1/0.
