Network Makes it 10 Consecutive November Victories in Viewers, Eight Straight in Adults 25-54 and is Projected to Place First in Adults 18-49 for the First Time Since 2005.


CBS Wins the Week in Viewers, Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54 for the Seventh Time in Nine Weeks.

CBS is two days away from a full decade of November sweep victories and is projected to place first in viewers for the 10th consecutive year.  The Network is also expected to place first in adults 25-54 for the eighth straight year and place first in adults 18-49 (tie) for the first time since 2005, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Nov. 21, week nine of the 2010-2011 season.

CBS’s November sweep winning streak began in 2001 among viewers and in 2003 among adults 25-54.

CBS also placed first in viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 for the seventh time in nine weeks this season.
           
For the week in viewers: CBS (11.68m), ABC (9.31m), NBC (7.63m) and FOX (6.13m).  Season-to-date in viewers: CBS (12.71m), ABC (9.96m), NBC (8.07m) and FOX (8.06m).

For the week in key demographics, CBS was first in both adults 25-54 (3.8/10) and adults 18-49 (2.7/08).  Season-to-date, CBS is first in both adults 25-54 (4.3/11) and adults 18-49 (3.3/09), up +2% in adults 25-54 (from 4.2/10) and +3% in adults 18-49 (from 3.2/09) compared to last season.

For the week in households: CBS (7.2/12), ABC (5.8/10), NBC (4.8/08) and FOX (3.6/06).  Season-to-date in households: CBS (7.7/13), ABC (6.3/10), NBC (5.0/08) and FOX (4.8/08). 

CBS Weekly Highlights:

— Monday, CBS was first in adults 18-49 (3.4/09) and second in households (6.6/10), viewers (10.67m) and adults 25-54 (4.4/11, -0.1 behind ABC). 

HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER (5.4/08, 8.87m) was second in adults 18-49 (3.6/10) and adults 18-34 (3.1/09).  Compared to last week, HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER was up +3% in adults 18-49 (from 3.0/09), +7% in adults 18-34 (from 2.9/09), even in adults 25-54 (4.1/10). 

TWO AND A HALF MEN was first in adults 18-49 (4.5/11) and second in households (8.6/13), viewers (14.25m) and adults 25-54 (6.0/13).  Compared to last week, TWO AND A HALF MEN was up +4% in households (from 8.3/12), +9% in adults 25-54 (from 5.5/12), +5% in adults 18-49 (from 4.3/11) and added +620,000 viewers (from 13.63m, +5%).

MIKE & MOLLY was first in households (7.5/12), viewers (12.15m), adults 25-54 (5.0/12) and adults 18-49 (3.7/09).  Compared to last week (when the program aired against “Dancing with the Stars”), MIKE & MOLLY was up +12% in households (from 6.7/10), +11% in adults 25-54 (from 4.5/10), +6% in adults 18-49 (from 3.5/09) and added +1.35m viewers (from 10.80m, +12%). 

HAWAII FIVE-0 was first in households (6.5/11), viewers (10.34m), adults 25-54 (3.8/10) and adults 18-49 (2.8/08).  Compared to last week, HAWAII FIVE-0 was up +3% in adults 25-54 (from 3.7/10), even in households and added +110,000 viewers (from 10.23m, +1%). 

— On Tuesday, CBS was first in households (9.6/16), viewers (15.66m) and adults 25-54 (4.5/11); it was second in adults 18-49 (3.1/09). 

NCIS was first in households (11.7/18), viewers (19.43m) and adults 25-54 (5.5/14); it was second in adults 18-49 (3.9/11). 

THE GOOD WIFE was first in households (7.6/14), viewers (11.74m), adults 25-54 (3.4/09) and adults 18-49 (2.2/06) for the seventh straight broadcast. 

— On Wednesday, CBS was first in households (7.1/12), viewers (11.94m), adults 25-54 (4.1/11) and adults 18-49 (3.1/09).  CBS has won seven of the last nine Wednesdays in these measures.   

SURVIVOR: NICARAGUA was first in households (6.9/11), viewers (11.98m), adults 25-54 (4.7/12) and adults 18-49 (3.5/10).  SURVIVOR: NICARAGUA was up +8% in households (from 6.4/10), +7% in adults 25-54 (from 4.4/12), +9% in adults 18-49 (from 3.2/10) and added +690,000 viewers (from 11.29m, +6%) compared to last week. 

CRIMINAL MINDS was first in households (8.6/14), viewers (14.39m) and adults 25-54 (4.7/12); it was second in adults 18-49 (3.8/10, -0.1 behind ABC).  Compared to last week, CRIMINAL MINDS was up +12% in households (from 7.7/12), +15% in adults 25-54 (from 4.1/10), +23% in adults 18-49 (from 3.1/08) and added +1.83m viewers (from 12.56m, +15%). 

THE DEFENDERS was first in households (5.9/11), viewers (9.43m) and adults 25-54 (2.8/08) and tied for first in adults 18-49 (1.9/06, with NBC).  Compared to last week, THE DEFENDERS was up +13% in households (from 5.2/09), +8% in adults 25-54 (from 2.6/07), +6% in adults 18-49 (from 1.8/05) and added +1.03m viewers (from 8.40m, +12%). 

— On Thursday, CBS was first in households (8.2/14), viewers (13.49m), adults 25-54 (4.5/12) and adults 18-49 (3.3/09). 

THE BIG BANG THEORY was first in households (7.7/13), viewers (13.02m), adults 25-54 (5.6/15), adults 18-49 (4.3/13) and adults 18-34 (3.2/13).  Compared to last week, THE BIG BANG THEORY was up +2% in both adults 25-54 (from 5.5/14) and adults 18-49 (from 4.2/12) and +10% in adults 18-34 (from 2.9/09).  THE BIG BANG THEORY was Thursday’s #1 program in adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 for the fifth straight week.

$#*! MY DAD SAYS was first in households (6.2/10), viewers (10.13m), adults 25-54 (4.2/11) and adults 18-49 (3.0/09).  Compared to last week, $#*! MY DAD SAYS was up +5% in both households (from 5.9/09) and adults 25-54 (from 4.0/10), +3% in adults 18-49 (from 2.9/08) and added +410,000 viewers (from 9.72m, +4%). 

CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION was first in households (8.5/14) and viewers (14.15m); it was second in adults 25-54 (4.4/11).  Compared to last week, CSI was up +5% in households (from 8.1/13), +13% in adults 25-54 (from 3.9/09), +11% in adults 18-49 (3.1/08 from 2.8/08) and added +1.16m viewers (from 12.99m, +9%). 

THE MENTALIST was first in households (9.0/16), viewers (14.74m), adults 25-54 (4.3/12) and adults 18-49 (3.0/09).  Compared to last week, THE MENTALIST was up +6% in households (from 8.5/15), +8% in adults 25-54 (from 4.0/11), +7% in adults 18-49 (from 2.8/08) and added +900,000 viewers (from 13.84m, +6%).  

CSI: NY was first in households (6.5/11), viewers (10.18m), adults 25-54 (2.4/07) and second in adults 18-49 (1.5/05, -0.1 behind ABC). 

BLUE BLOODS was first in households (7.0/13) and viewers (11.36m); it was tied for first in adults 25-54 (2.6/08, with ABC) and second in adults 18-49 (1.6/05). 

60 MINUTES (7:12-8:12PM) was first in households (11.1/18), viewers (17.73m), adults 25-54 (5.0/12) and adults 18-49 (3.7/10).  60 MINUTES posted its best delivery in both households and viewers since Dec. 14, 2008; in adults 25-54 since Jan. 17, 2010; and in adults 18-49 since Oct. 10, 2010.  Compared to last week, 60 MINUTES was up +41% in households (from 7.9/13), +85% in adults 25-54 (from 2.7/07), +118% in adults 18-49 (from 1.7/05) and added +5.41m viewers (from 12.32m, +44%). 

Compared to last week, THE AMAZING RACE 17 (8:12-9:12 PM) was up +3% in households (6.2/09 from 6.0/09), +8% in adults 25-54 (4.1/09 from 3.8/08), +7% in adults 18-49 (3.0/07 from 2.8/07) and added +250,000 viewers (10.59m from 10.34m, +2%). 

UNDERCOVER BOSS (9:12-10:12 PM) was second in households (7.6/12) and viewers (12.74m).  UNDERCOVER BOSS posted its best delivery in both households and viewers since Oct. 3, 2010; in adults 25-54 (4.4/10) since Oct. 17, 2010; and in adults 18-49 (3.4/08) since Oct. 24, 2010.  Compared to last week, UNDERCOVER BOSS was up +23% in households (from 6.2/09), +22% in adults 25-54 (from 3.6/08), +26% in adults 18-49 (from 2.7/06) and added +2.32m viewers (from 10.42m, +22%).

CSI: MIAMI (6.9/12, 10.57m, 10:12-11:12 PM) posted its best household and viewer deliveries since Oct. 17, 2010.  Compared to the last week, CSI: MIAMI was up +10% in households (from 6.3/11), +3% in adults 25-54 (3.2/08 from 3.1/08), even in adults 18-49 (2.3/06) and added +310,000 viewers (from 10.26m, +3%).
