Week 9: Univision does well in November sweeps in key demos

Univision the #1 Broadcast Network on Friday Nights in Overall Primetime Among ALL Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 for the November 2010 Sweep.
 
Univision Highlights – NPM Broadcast Prime Week of 11/15/10
•     Univision finished the November 2010 sweep as the #1 broadcast network on Friday nights among Adults 18-49 (2.4 million) and Adults 18-34 (1.3 million), beating its closest competitors CBS by +10% and ABC by +66%, respectively.  Among Adults 18-49, this marks the first time ever in a November Sweep that Univision takes the #1 position.
 
•     Last Friday, the top 3 most-watched broadcast programs among Adults 18-34 were Univision’s #1 “Soy Tu Dueña” (Woman of Steel), #2 “Eva Luna” and #3 “La Rosa de Guadalupe” (The Rose of Guadalupe). Additionally on Friday night, “Soy Tu Dueña” was the #1 broadcast program among Adults 18-49 and Teens 12-17.
 
•       In the last full broadcast week of the competitive November 2010 Sweep period, Univision delivered the highest primetime year-to-year growth of any broadcast network among Total Viewers 2+ (+8%), Adults 18-49 (+14%), Adults 18-34 (+12%) and Adults 25-54 (10%).
 
•       Last week, Univision out-delivered ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX on 5 out of 7 nights among Adults 18-34, on 2 out of 7 nights among Adults 18-49 and on 4 out of 7 nights among Teens 12-17.
 
•       For the week, Univision had 5 of the Top 30 primetime broadcast shows among Adults 18-34.
 
•       Last week, Univision finished as the #1 most-watched broadcast network among Kids 2-11 (529,000) and ranked #5 among Total Viewers 2+ (4.0 million), Adults 18-49 (2.1 million), Adults 18-34 (1.2 million) and Teens 12-17 (206,000).
 
•       In the 8pm hour, Univision’s “Eva Luna” averaged its best weekly performance among Total Viewers 2+ (3.7 million), Adults 18-49 (2.0 million), Adults 18-34 (1.1 million) and Persons 12-34 (1.3 million).  Additionally, “Eva Luna” helped Univision attain the #4 ranking in the M-F/8-9pm hour among Adults 18-34 (1.1 million) and Women 18-34 (599,000), beating NBC by +17% and +11%, respectively in the hour.
 
•       “Soy Tu Dueña” (Woman of Steel) made Univision the #2 ranked broadcast network, behind ABC, in the M-F/9-10pm hour among Adults 18-34 (1.8 million) and Women 18-34 (920,000) and ranked #3 among Adults 18-49 (3.1 million), Women 18-49 (1.7 million) and Teens 12-17 (298,000); beating NBC, FOX and CW.
 
•       At 10pm, Univision’s checkerboard line-up and a special presentation of “Camino a Premios TV Y Novelas” made the network the #2 ranked broadcast network among Adults 18-34 (990,000) and ranked #3 among Women 18-34 (554,000) and Teens 12-17 (171,000).
 
•       Univision’s reality dance competition”¡Mira Quien Baila¡” (Look Who’s Dancing!) grand finale reached 9.5 million Total Viewers 2+ who watched some or all of the three-hour broadcast on Sunday night.
 
•       Sunday’s finale of “¡Mira Quien Baila!” (Look Who’s Dancing!) attracted an average audience of 5.1 million Total Viewers 2+, 2.6 million Adults 18-49 and 1.3 million Adults 18-34, generating the show’s highest-rated telecast in the programs first season among these key  demographics.  Additionally, this telecast was the highest reality show finale ever in Univision’s history among Total Viewers 2+.
