Wells Fargo, which now owns Wachovia, has launched a campaign that features both banks. The campaign began Sunday in The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal. The promotion will expand this month to television, radio and billboards. Regional ads will feature one of the banks. National ads will say Wachovia is owned by Wells Fargo.
The campaign depicts customers in everyday situations — such as getting married, retiring or starting a business — that affect their financial goals. The campaign’s theme is “With You When,” and it seeks to show how Wells Fargo or Wachovia can assist customers.
