The newly created position is actually Executive Vice President for Marketing and Communications, and she gets it immediately. Joining on from Hearst Entertainment & Syndication where she was VP/Business development and strategy, she will report to CCR CEO John Hogan. Her background in promoting and developing new media platforms will support the company’s expansion into the digital arena.
Looks like Clear Channel’s new Chairman of Media and Entertainment Platforms Bob Pittman continues to assemble his team: Previous to Hearst, Goldberg developed and directed communications strategies as senior adviser at the Pilot Group, where she also advised Pilot Group partner Bob Pittman on positioning and tactics for the firm’s portfolio companies.
Goldberg will specifically oversee and execute strategic programs to advance portfolio of CC Radio brands, and be responsible for internal and external communications; marketing of CCR brands and products; business-to-business marketing support; and developing and coordinating strategy for local marketing efforts.
