Following the first round auditions, John was one of fifty semifinalists which was eventually narrowed down to five finalists who all appeared on Mike Francesa’s Summer Beach party 8/19 at Bar A in Lake Como, NJ.

WFAN also congratulates the four other finalists who will each receive one air shift on the station: Pat Totaro, Patrick Creighton, Mike McMaster and Neeraj Joshi.

Participants auditioned in front of a panel of judges at four area malls.  A number of participants moved on to round two, where the final five were determined. This year’s five finalists were chosen from over 2,000 fans and loyal listeners who showed up at the auditions or submitted videos online.
