Tribune’s WGN Radio Chicago announced changes to its weekend schedule, including the return of “Sports Central Weekend” hosted by former Chicago Bear Glen Kozlowski and Alex Quigley.  Former ChicagoNow Radio co-hosts Alex Quigley and Amy Guth will shift to a general talk show format, Dean Richards’ Sunday morning show will be expanded by one hour and Nick Digilio’s Saturday evening show moves to 6-10 p.m.  Extension 720 with Milt Rosenberg will air Sundays 10 p.m. – midnight, while WGN Weekend will be hosted by various WGN hosts. Hosts Jerry Agar and “The News Junkie” Shawn Wasson are no longer with the station.

“The goal of WGN weekends is to make our programming more relevant, warm, upbeat, and all Chicago,” said Tom Langmyer, WGN VP?GM. “The lineup will better fit with the mindsets of our weekend listeners as well as be fun to listen to.
