MIAMI — There’s much ado about efforts to impose a new royalty fee on Radio, funding for local journalism, and keeping the “fake news” fueled by social media from overpowering legitimate reporting delivered by local media across the U.S.

What key issues are being chatted about across Capitol Hill and at the FCC? How, in particular, are these issues perhaps of great concern to Hispanic media? A Thursday Hispanic Radio Conference session offered an update on what’s impacting Spanish-language radio.
