Mark your calendar – FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler will address those assembled at the NAB Show in Las Vegas on Wednesday 4/15/15.
Don’t stay in bed too long, either. A session featuring the Chairman will run from 9-10 AM.
“This is a great opportunity for NAB Show attendees to hear first-hand from the FCC Chairman on the FCC’s progress on the TV spectrum incentive auction and a host of other items currently under consideration at the Commission,” said NAB President and CEO Gordon Smith.
FCC Chairs tend to be tied to specific policy projects, and it is beyond any doubt that Wheeler’s legacy will revolve around wireless broadband.
Broadcasters are inextricably tied to the Wheeler legacy in that they will be the source for repurposed beachfront spectrum via the upcoming incentive auction.
To say the least, it should be extremely interesting to hear what Mr. Wheeler has to say!
