If you’ve been curious as to why the FCC has posted no new transactions since November 18, you’re not alone.

The CDBS system that’s been used by the Commission for the last several years has been devoid of new deal filings for two weeks. But, it appears it has nothing to do with a chilled marketplace ahead of a presidential power shift.

Rather, it has everything to do with a shift to a new database that few know about — even today.
