Fox Networks Group (FNG) is welcoming two new individuals to its Global Solutions team, with each taking SVP roles for the sales division.

Joining FNG are Derek Murphy and Greg Stangel, who will serve as SVPs/Global Solutions, Advertising Sales.

These are newly created roles at Fox Networks Group, and Murphy and Stangel will each develop and execute strategic partnerships across FNG’s domestic and international media assets.

They report to EVP/Global Solutions Danielle Maged.

Global Solutions is designed to connect brands to FOX and 21st Century Fox programming and brands on a worldwide level, allowing them to craft the best strategic platforms.

“As we continue to grow our Global Solutions team and its capabilities, we need leaders who are as innovative and impactful as the customized partnerships they develop,” said Maged. “Derek and Greg bring the experience, relationships and acumen necessary to build industry-leading brand alliances across Fox Networks Group’s assets to drive results for our clients and our company.”

Murphy has been the principal and strategic advisor for consulting practice 31Ventures since March 2016, and led strategic consulting services for the group’s media and consumer-tech clients. Before that he served as the head of strategic partner and program development for USA TODAY. He has also been SVP/Business Development for The Huffington Post.

Stangel was formerly Business Development, Global Property Representation & Sales at CAA. From 2003-2008, he served as Director/Corporate Sales & Services for the New York Mets baseball club.
