Why Did Entravision Toss Its Accounting Firm?

With its shares at their lowest value since September 2014, longtime Entravision Communications investors may be weary. On December 4, 2017, Entravision stock was valued at $7.75. With minutes left in Friday’s trading on Wall Street, EVC is off 1.7%, to $4.30.

The dip is the result of what Chairman/CEO Walter Ulloa admits was “a difficult quarter,” as Q1 digital revenues were higher than those for Entravision’s radio stations. TV industry net revenue, still the No. 1 driver for the company, also slumped.

Now comes word that the company’s independent registered public accounting firm has been dismissed.
