WideOrbit, provider of ad management software for media companies, will preview its new order entry and approvals app for WO Traffic that will run on mobile tablet devices at the 2013 NAB Show. The new app will provide a quick, easy and mobile way for media sales and traffic professionals to book and approve orders in WO Traffic for ultimate efficiency and flexibility. The app will be available on both iPad and Android™ tablet devices.
WO Traffic, WideOrbit’s ad sales, traffic and revenue management solution, is the system of choice for a majority of broadcast television stations and networks across the U.S., and is rapidly gaining market share in radio and media networks. The new order entry and approvals app will allow a media salesperson to enter an order on their mobile tablet device utilizing a simplified process that ingests the order into WO Traffic. This triggers an email notification to the sales manager with a link to the order in the mobile app for quick and easy approval.
“We are excited to introduce an innovative tool that helps improve our clients’ productivity and fulfills their growing need to be more mobile,” said Arden Ten Broeck, Product Manager of WO Traffic at WideOrbit. “The WO Traffic order entry and approvals app will help salespeople go from the customer’s desk to submitting orders on their tablet device without being tethered to the office. Sales managers will also benefit from the ability to approve new orders and order changes while on the go; and they will have a more up-to-date view of sales orders and inventory. We’ve made the tool incredibly quick and easy to use in order to simplify the process of booking orders across sales and traffic organizations, and deliver significant time savings to our clients.”
WideOrbit will be providing demos at the 2013 NAB Show in booths N5129 and N5829 in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center, April 8-11.
