Wilks Officially Exits Columbus

WilksLogoSaga Communications and Radio One closed at the same time on $15M worth of stations in Columbus, Ohio from Wilks Broadcasting.


According to broker Michael Bergner, Saga closed on a $13M purchase of WLVQ-FM and Radio One closed on its purchase of the former WHOK-FM and WZOH-FM. WHOK(FM) is a Class A with an ERP of 3,000 watts, operating on 107.1 MHz. WZOH(FM) is a Class B with an ERP of 21,000 watts, operating on 95.5 MHz.

Wilks has been divesting its broadcast assets. With these sales, Wilks officially leaves the Columbus market.
