The Netherlands-based global provider of Philips digital signage wants a bigger piece of the action in the broadcast television space, in particular in the U.S. and Canada.

As such, it has just hired three AV industry professionals to help build its North American business.

Joining PPDS, which offers products including interactive displays, direct view LED and professional TV products across the globe is welcoming Mitch Rosenberg, Adam Coleman, and Jeff Handis to the team covering areas between Honolulu and Halifax.

LFD distribution and channel operations will be a key focus for the three new PPDS staffers.

In a newly created role, Rosenberg serves as Director of LED and LCD Videowalls. A
major focus area for the business in 2022, PPDS offers such products as the Philips DV LED 6000 Series. A LCD offering is set for unveiling at the InfoComm 2022 conference and expo.

Working alongside Rosenberg, Coleman becomes PPDS’ new Solutions Manager for LED and LCD Videowalls. Coleman’s focus is to build and grow support for the Philips X- and L-Lines, with a heavy focus on direct view. He’ll also oversee the development of strategic training and learning programs for all levels, including sales training, installation/service support, and integrator/end user training.

Handis takes the position of PPDS Channel Manager for Distribution & DMR.

Rosenberg, Coleman and Handis will be attending InfoComm 2022, in Las Vegas from June 8-10. They’ll be in the North Hall at Booth 2021.
