On Tuesday (7/12), RBR+TVBR exclusively reported on the return to the airwaves of WQZS-FM 93.3 in Meyersdale, Pa., of Roger Wahl. He’s the licensee facing the revocation and deletion of his Class A Classic Hits radio station serving Somerset County, Pa., with the FCC actively reviewing whether his status as a convicted felon eliminates his ability to continue owning the FM.
It appears that the FCC’s Enforcement Bureau read the article late Tuesday, as its Acting Chief immediately sent the Administrative Law Judge a motion for a status conference.
