Wizzard Media signs ad deal with Spike TV

Wizzard Media, a large podcasting network, announced it has signed with Spike TV to use Wizzard’s LibsynPRO 2.0 service to host a podcast in support of Spike’s new original series, "Factory." The agreement also includes a Spike TV ad campaign to run on the Wizzard Media Network in support of the podcast and television series.


The Spike TV "Factory" podcast (wizzard.tv/factory) will consist of bonus footage from the series, which premiered on Sunday, June 29 at 10pm ET/PT.

By using the LibsynPRO 2.0 system, Spike TV will receive detailed statistics, dynamic ad insertion and geo-targeting tools and Nielsen//NetRatings metrics reporting for the "Factory" podcast. The podcast ad campaign in support of the series, which kicked off on June 15, will generate nearly a half-million ad impressions over the course of the campaign.

Spike TV’s "Factory" follows the day-to-day lives of four disinterested small town factory workers as they spend their time fraternizing in lieu of doing their drab work. This painfully funny look at life as a factory employee is stars and is produced and directed by “Strangers with Candy” co-creator Mitch Rouse.
