Big 98 Country WSIX-FM Nashville welcomes Katie Bright as the newest member of “The House Foundation” morning show. For the past 5 years Katie has been the co-host of the Marconi winning (2008) morning show on WAXX in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. During the last 18 months of that successful run she has been based in Nashville. Katie will join Gerry House, Mike Bohan and producer Richard Falklen starting 4/1.
“Katie brings a totally new perspective to the show.” said Program Director Keith Kaufman. “It will be intriguing. I’m very excited about what the future has in store. This ought to be fun.”
Bright said “Joining WSIX and The House Foundation is a dream come true for me. I’ve been following Gerry’s show for years and have always wondered what it would sound like to have a chick on the show…now, I’m the chick! It’ll be a blast to join the Boy’s Club at WSIX. I can’t wait to get there…until then you can find me on top of Love Circle jumping for joy!”
Gerry House added “Katie is engaging, attractive, and funny. As far as I can recall, none of those things have been a part of this show before. Listeners will be thrilled.”
The House Foundation can be heard weekday mornings between 6 and 10AM.
