WYBC Coats For Kids charity event back in town

The Annual Cox Radio’s WYBC-FM New Haven, CT Coats For Kids Drive will help the less fortunate get a warm coat for winter. You’d think in a state as affluent as Connecticut that every man, women and child would have a warm coat; but unfortunately that’s not the case, of course, says the station.

It will be held from 2:00p.m. – 5:00p.m. Sunday December 5 at The New Haven City Wide Fieldhouse. WYBC is holding the event in association with Dunkin Donuts, Good Will Industries, New Haven Firebird Society and The Brio Academy. Folks that need a coat will be given the opportunity to get a winter coat free of charge. There will be games, toys and books for the children and Santa will make an appearance as well. Representatives from the Community Action Agency, Children Community Programs, National Kidney Foundation of Connecticut and The UCONN College of Agriculture and Natural Resources will be on hand to provide information about their programs.
