Wyoming CP sold to Canned Ham

Darrell and Mary Woolsey will be getting the construction permit for a new AM station that will ply the airwaves at 1600 kHz in Casper WY. The seller is Barbara Lynch.

The Woolsey’s license company is called Canned Ham Communications LLC. They will pay $4.5K cash for the CP.

It will be their second station, and first in the market. They already own KYOD-FM Glendo WY, a community considerably to the east of Casper.

The station will be a Class B, with 5 kW-D and 1.5 kW-N, with a directional array used after dark. Canned Ham is asking for an 18-month extension to build the station.
