X107.5 holding Ink'd Xpo at the Las Vegas Hilton

The 1st Annual CBS Radio’s X107.5 Las Vegas Ink’d Xpo – “Chopped, Screwed and Tattoo’d” event will be held 4/22-4/24 at Las Vegas Hilton featuring tattoo artists from all over the world joining in for the three-day party. Integrating with numerous local advertisers, it starts with a kick off party at Las Vegas Harley Davidson on 4/21 from 5pm – 7pm with food and drinks provided by Big Dogs. There will be a bike ride at 7pm from Harley Davidson and end at Diablo’s Cantina.


The full list of sponsors includes: Coors Light, Dos Equis, Déjà Vu, Dollar Loan Center, The Gun Store, UFC, Wyndham, Las Vegas Harley Davidson, Mr. Bills Pipe and Tobacco Co., Findlay Toyota, Dead Man’s Hand Tattoo, Diablo’s Cantina, Tequila Semental, Rock N Roll Rodeo, and The Las Vegas Hilton.

Tickets can be bought at all participating Mr. Bill’s locations. All Ages are welcome, and kids 10 and under are free. A Hilton stay package includes the hotel room, two 3-day passes, and food and drink specials.
 
Diablo’s Cantina at the Monte Carlo Hotel & Casino is the official Ink’d Xpo after party location. It’s working in conjunction with Rock N Roll Rodeo & Shaun Kama for the event lineup:

Friday April 22: Manic Hispanic, Throw Rag, Kings of the Wild Frontier, The Black Diamond Riders, The Loud Pipes. Doors @ 9pm, Concert @ 10pm.
Saturday April 23: The Chop Tops, Deadbolt, Kings of the Wild Frontier, Cowbelleros. Doors @ 9pm, Concert @ 10pm.

Dave Farra and Jason Mahoney of the “Dave and Mahoney Morning Show on X107.5” will be hosting the event while they air live from inside the Hilton.

RBR-TVBR observation: The first event of its kind for the station, it should net some big dollars for both X107.5 and the advertisers involved. This is the kind of thing you see less of in radio—at least something of this scope and magnitude—but it can make a huge difference in quarterly revenues if done right. This may have been a good thing for CBS Radio to market on some of its other Rock/Alternative stations’ websites too, since there’s a room value package involving staying at the Las Vegas Hilton for the 3-day event. Maybe next year.
