You Tube, Warner Music come to terms

YouTube and Warner Music Group have reached an agreement that will return the label’s music to the video-sharing site. The multi-year deal gives viewers the opportunity to discover and share Warner’s artists on YouTube. Warner will get a revenue share from ads, based on CPMs or cost per clicks (CPCs). Warner also has the option to monetize user-generated videos through Content ID, a YouTube technology that allows copyright owners to claim and monetize user-generated videos that use any of Warner’s music.
