Zurich Financial Services Group (Zurich) has named GroupM’s Mindshare to manage Zurich’s Group-wide media account with immediate effect. The newly assigned media account, also encompassing media for the Farmers’ brand in the US, includes services such as media strategy, planning and buying.

Phil Cowdell, Mindshare NA CEO, tells RBR/TVBR: “We are very pleased to be hired by Zurich globally and as is the case in any centrally managed assignment, even more proud that our US based clients at both Zurich and Farmers were both fully bought in to the decision and gave us their unequivical local support. We are very keen to get started and help them in every way we can.”

Publicis Group will continue to be responsible for Zurich’s global creative services, a position which Publicis has held since Zurich launched its international brand campaign “Because change happenz” in 2005. It also developed the more recent “Zurich HelpPoint™” campaign, launched in autumn 2008.
