August 30-September 5: NBC ranked #2 among the major networks in adults 25-54

Paced by the week’s #1 primetime telecast on the major networks, the Tuesday edition of “America’s Got Talent,” NBC tied for #2 for the week in adult 18-49 rating and was #2 outright in total viewers, averaging a 1.3 rating, 4 share in adults 18-49 and 5.2 million viewers overall for the week of August 30-September 5. 


For the week, NBC also ranked #2 among the major networks in adults 25-54 (tie) and was tied for #1 in women 18-49.

The Tuesday telecast of “America’s Got Talent” ranked #1 for the week in adults 18-49, total viewers, adults 25-54 and other key categories.  Wednesday’s “Talent” was #5 in adults 18-49 and #2 in total viewers.  An edition of “America’s Got Talent” has now been the #1 non-sports telecast in total viewers for 12 out of the last 14 weeks. 

The Tuesday and Wednesday telecasts of “Minute To Win It” also ranked in the top 20 for the week, with Wednesday’s episode tying for #11 in adults 18-49 and Tuesday’s edition tying for #16.

Primetime averages for the week of August 30-September 5 in adults 18-49 were ABC (1.4/5), CBS (1.3/4), Fox (1.3/4), NBC (1.3/4) and CW (0.4/1).  In overall total viewers the weekly averages were CBS (5.7 million), NBC (5.2 million), ABC (4.7 million), Fox (3.6 million) and CW (1.0 million).
