Davis Media buy closes; Hawaii translators sold


The Tide 92.3 FMDavis Media has closed on the purchase of LMA’d AAA WXTG-FM 102.1 (simulcasts with 92.3 WTYD-FM Williamsburg, VA: The Tide) and Sports WXTG-AM  Virginia Beach, VA from Red Zebra Broadcasting for $1.2 million. $200K escrow, balance in cash at closing. LMA 8/1/13, $22K/month. Duopoly with WBQK-FM West Point VA. [FCC file date 8/1/13]

George Hochman is selling translators K239CD (95.7) Lahaina, HI, and K241BZ (96.1) Kihei, HI — to Kona Coast Radio (Vic Michael) for $145K.  Cumulus’ Radio Licensing Holding is selling WNRX-AM (currently silent) Jefferson, TN to Lakeway Broadcasting for $15K.
